Alpha Arbutin

It is a type of glycoside, which is a natural compound formed from glucose molecules found in plants. It is mainly extracted from the 'blueberry' plant in the 'Arctostaphylos' genus, among many other medicinal plants in the 'Ericaceae' family. When applied locally, it inhibits the Tyrosinase enzyme and prevents melanin formation. Arbutin is therefore used as a skin lightening agent. It is found in very small amounts in wheat, pear skin and some other foods. Arbutin is a naturally occurring derivative of Hydroquinone. It is used as an alternative to hydroquinone, as it provides its skin lightening effect without any risk. Alpha-Arbutin is frequently used in the cosmetic industry as a safer alternative to Hydroquinone. It gives good results in lightening and brightening the skin. It also slows down the process by which UV light from the sun causes pigmentation. It makes the skin clean and bright.

Hyaluronic Acid

It is derived from the Greek word hyalos meaning "glass"; also known as hyaluronan or hyaluronate, a type of binder polymer; It is a glycosaminoglycan containing anionic, long polysaccharides. It is one of the main components of the extracellular matrix. In the human body (about 15-20 gr) in certain (usually nerve) tissues; It is found in large amounts in the vitreous fluid of the eye. Its role in the human body is mostly based on development, improvement and maintenance. Since it is found in tissues, it maintains the elasticity of the skin, maintains it in a stable condition and takes care of the formation of collagen fibers; because the lack of these fibers negatively affects the elasticity of the skin.
